We are based in Ceará, state located in the northeast region of Brazil, and founded in 1992.

Our love for our work goes far beyond our growth story. It gives us real purpose to bring more health and quality of life to the tables of thousands of families.

We are among the largest and best producers of chicken and quail eggs in the country, with a production that exceeds 2,000,000 eggs/day.

From grading to processing, from packaging to logistics, we achieve the highest levels of automation and invest in the best technologies to simplify and streamline each process in the value chain in which we operate.

And when it comes to the environment, it’s no different. Social and environmental responsibility are also in our DNA. That’s why, in each of our units, we invest in advanced solutions for waste management, as well as maintaining green roofs and native forest, planting more than 25,000 saplings every year. All this to ensure biosafety in each of our operations and the preservation of the environment. 

Each new milestone for Avine also represents new achievements for all our employees.

Some keyfacts about us:

The company is founded by Airton Carneiro and starts by focusing on the production of hen egg production. The office is located in Fortaleza, while the feedstock and production plants are located in Aquiraz and Cascavel.

Avine begins to operate its own chick hatchery with a capacity to receive 600,000 chicks per month.

Avine starts housing and selling broiler chickens.

The beginning of the 2000s marks the launching of its line of enriched products, with eggs enriched with a high content of Omega 3 and vitamin E, an innovation not only for the poultry market at the time, but also for the company, which began to deepen its differentiation strategy. 

In this year, Airton Carneiro Jr joins his father, Airton Carneiro, and sister, Ana Cláudia Carneiro, at the helm of the company

The year is marked by the production and commercialization of quails eggs with the opening of the new farm located in the city of Aquiraz. By the time, the production capacity had already reached 7.000 eggs per day

Avine is awarded with the BPF certification (Boas Práticas de Fabricação) from the safe food program. As the third chicken egg company in Brazil to receive the Brazilian certificate, Avine is increasingly recognized for its commitment to the product quality throughout the entire production process.

From this year on, the focus of the company is totally turned to the production of chicken eggs, with the production capacity reaching 500.000 eggs per day

To celebrate its 20 years in the market, Avine takes a big step forward in its expansion plan with the construction of a new unit in the municipality of Cascavel.

Verticalized and fully automated, the new factory has the capacity to triple the company’s production of chicken and quail eggs.

Avine is progressing in its sustainable practices and is now producing and marketing organic fertilizer made from 100% natural chicken manure. 

For the first time in its history, the company achieves a daily production of 1,000,000 eggs.

In 2016, the company once again demonstrates its ability to create value by opening a pasteurized egg unit in Ceará, marking its entry into the pasteurized egg market.

From November 2018, all the company’s eggs are marked with the company name and production date. This is yet another commitment undertaken by Avine to the quality of the product it delivers to customers.

With the customer always at the center of its operations, the company embarks on the production of cage-free eggs, launching its first line of free-range eggs in 2020 and, in 2021, cage-free eggs.

Following on from the previous year, in 2021 the company proves its commitment to animal welfare and obtains Certified Humane, becoming the first company in the northeast to offer products that meet the high standards of this certification.

Already with a consolidated presence in the north and northeast, the company moves towards the internationalization of its presence and obtains the Halal Certification, demonstrating the strict quality control of its production process and compliance with the Islamic principles.

This year Avine underwent a rigorous certification process, in which all of Avine’s free-range egg production holds the AVAL certification. It attests that our entire production process for this egg type complies with the ABNT NBR 16437 requirements.
